Joscelyn Himes is an artisan that specializes in custom dyeing for the fashion and interior design industries. We combine the precision of the traditional Japanese patterning methods of Shibori tying methods, handpainting, and digital translations with a sophisticated, compelling color sensibility. We dye patterns on silk charmeuse, silk dupioni, linen, cotton, wool, and cashmere, and also have many years of experience in garment dyeing.
Our fabrics have been incorporated into the collections of several prominent design houses, including Urban Zen by Donna Karan Vera Wang, Donna Karan collection, Bill Blass collection, and Colleen Quen.
Our passion is to work closely with the design team to create a unique product and look that represents our collaborative efforts. Not only does this include fashion designers, but interior designers, architects, and the occasional individual.
Our work is also featured in the assemblage of couture boutiques, such as Urban Zen, Black Bamboo, Feng and Dem 2 Hands.
