the upper band of black can be included or not, and multiple bands may be incorporated depending on client needs.

Please note, these stripes are hand pleated, so some variation does occur.  There is also a wider stripe in the relative center of the fabric.

Kumo means "spiderweb".  These can be large or small, dense or open depending on the client's needs.

This process looks somewhat different depending on the density of the fabric.  It is always best to test new grounds.

This pattern can be placed based on the client's needs and can even be done for some garment dyes.

Much like the regular Arashi, but with more of a honey-comb look.
